Noarlunga Netball Club was established in 1947, making it one of the oldest netball clubs in the far southern suburbs of Adelaide and a key founding club in the development of what became the Southern Hills Netball Association (SHNA). From its early post-war beginnings, the club fostered local participation in netball, helping to build and sustain organised competition in the region. Over the decades it has grown and adapted alongside the broader expansion of community sport in the Onkaparinga area, maintaining a focus on inclusivity, skill development, and friendly competition for players of all ages.
Throughout its history, Noarlunga Netball Club has been a community-centred organisation, encouraging family involvement, teamwork, and physical activity. The club continues to field multiple teams in both junior and senior divisions within the Southern Hills Netball Association, reflecting its ongoing commitment to the sport and to the local community. Today, the club is recognised not just for on-court results, but for its commitment to fostering confidence, friendship, and a lifelong love of netball within the local community.
